He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising (East Lansing, MI) and an MBA in Management from St. Leo University (St. Leo, FL).Russ has done additional degree work at Valencia Community College (Orlando, FL), Hillbourgh Community College (Tampa, FL), University of South Florida (St. Petersburg, FL), Florida International University (North Miami, Fl and Seminole, FL), Southern Cross University (Lismore, NSW, Australia) and Bellermine College (Louisville, KY).
He has been a Professor of Hotel Management at St. Petersburg College (St. Petersburg, Fl), St. Leo University, (St. Leo, Fl), Schiller International University, (Dunedin, Fl) and is currently a member of the faculty of Canyon College, www.canyoncollege.edu, (Caldwell, Idaho) where he teaches Hotel Management & Tourism.
During his career, Russ has lived and worked in some of the worlds most known tourist markets, including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Miami, Tampa, Northern Michigan, and Minnesota, emphasis on Tourism Marketing and Hotel Operations.Russ now resides in Clearwater, Florida.
